PlumbLink is a growing plumbing, heating and home improvements company based in High Wycombe.
We are looking for a motivated Plumbing & Heating Engineer Apprentice to join our team and develop practical experience working alongside experienced engineers.
This is an opportunity for someone looking to build a long term career within the plumbing and heating industry while gaining genuine experience in customers’ homes.
The Role
You will assist experienced engineers with a wide range of domestic plumbing and heating work while developing the skills required to eventually work independently.
Typical work may include:
• Assisting with general plumbing repairs
• Leak detection and repairs
• Tap and toilet repairs
• Bathroom plumbing
• Pipework installation and alterations
• Radiator installation and replacement
• Central heating maintenance
• Assisting with heating fault finding
• Pumps, valves and heating controls
• Hot and cold water systems
• Boiler and heating work under appropriate supervision
• Preparing tools and materials
• Keeping working areas clean and organised
• Taking job photographs and assisting with job records
Your responsibilities will increase as your experience and competence develop.
What We’re Looking For
Previous professional plumbing experience is not essential, but applicants should have a genuine interest in developing a career within the trade.

• Be polite and professional around customers
• Take pride in your work
• Be able to follow instructions
• Be willing to undertake physical work

• Be working towards or interested in obtaining relevant plumbing and heating qualifications
A full UK driving licence is desirable.
Training & Development
The successful applicant will gain practical experience working alongside experienced tradespeople.
The aim is to develop your knowledge, confidence and practical ability so that you can progress towards becoming a competent Plumbing & Heating Engineer.
Working Area
Work will primarily be within High Wycombe and approximately a 10 to 15 mile radius, including Beaconsfield, Marlow, Amersham, Hazlemere, Holmer Green, Bourne End, Wooburn Green, Princes Risborough and surrounding locations.
