About the Opportunity
PlumbLink is looking to build relationships with experienced Bathroom & Kitchen Fitters to support our growing home improvement workload.
This is an ad hoc subcontracting opportunity rather than a fixed salaried position.
Work will be offered as suitable projects become available, with pricing and scope agreed before commencement.
The Work
Projects may range from individual installation work through to complete bathroom and kitchen refurbishments.
Typical work may include:
• Complete bathroom installations
• Complete kitchen installations
• Removal of existing kitchens and bathrooms
• Kitchen unit installation
• Worktop installation
• Bathroom furniture installation
• Shower enclosure and bath installation
• Sanitaryware installation
• Wall preparation
• Flooring
• Silicone and finishing work
• Making good
• General carpentry associated with installations
• Coordination with plumbers, electricians, plasterers and other trades
We are looking for someone capable of producing a professional finished result rather than simply completing individual tasks.
What We’re Looking For
Ideally, you will have:
• Proven bathroom and/or kitchen fitting experience
• Strong practical and finishing skills
• Ability to work independently
• Own tools and equipment
• Own suitable vehicle
• Appropriate insurance
• Good communication skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work from plans and measurements
• Reliable timekeeping
• Ability to coordinate effectively with other trades
Photographs or examples of previous bathroom and kitchen installations would be beneficial.
Payment
This is ad hoc subcontract work.
Jobs will generally be priced individually according to the scope, complexity and expected duration.
Rates and payment terms will be agreed before each project begins.
Working Area
Projects will primarily be within High Wycombe and approximately a 10 to 15 mile radius, including Beaconsfield, Marlow, Amersham, Hazlemere, Holmer Green, Bourne End, Wooburn Green, Princes Risborough and surrounding locations.
