1. Introduction

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Plumblink website (https://plumblinkhw.co.uk) and the plumbing services provided by Plumblink ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms in full. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Service Description

PlumbLink provides residential and commercial plumbing services in High Wycombe and surrounding areas. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Emergency plumbing repairs
  • Bathroom and kitchen installations
  • Heating system maintenance and repairs
  • Boiler services and installations
  • Drain cleaning and maintenance
  • Water leak detection and repair

3. Booking and Appointments

3.1. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by PlumbLink.

3.2. We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellation of non-emergency appointments. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee.

3.3. For emergency services, we aim to respond within 2 hours of your call.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1. Our pricing structure is as follows:

  • Standard call-out fee: £90
  • Hourly rate: £90
  • Emergency call-out fee (outside normal business hours): £140

4.2. Payment is required upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.3. We accept payment by bank transfer, and cash.

4.4. All prices quoted include VAT at the current rate unless otherwise stated.

5. Warranties and Guarantees

5.1. We provide a 1 year warranty on all labour unless otherwise stated.

5.2. Manufacturer warranties apply to all parts and materials supplied by us.

5.3. Our warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse or negligence
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Modifications by third parties
  • Issues arising from pre-existing conditions

6. Our Responsibilities

6.1. We will:

  • Perform all services with reasonable care and skill
  • Comply with all relevant regulations and safety standards
  • Carry appropriate insurance coverage
  • Respect your property and maintain cleanliness during work

7. Customer Responsibilities

7.1. You must:

  • Provide accurate information about the plumbing issue
  • Ensure safe access to the work area
  • Obtain necessary permissions (e.g., landlord consent) if required
  • Clear valuable items from the work area

8. Liability

8.1. We maintain appropriate public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

8.2. Our liability is limited to £1,000,000 for any single incident.

8.3. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Delays caused by factors beyond our control
  • Pre-existing property conditions

9. Data Protection

9.1. We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9.2. We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

10. Complaints Procedure

10.1. If you are dissatisfied with our service, please:

  • Contact us immediately to discuss your concerns
  • Allow us the opportunity to rectify any issues
  • Follow our formal complaints procedure if necessary

11. Cancellation Rights

11.1. For non-emergency work, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of booking without penalty.

11.2. If you request emergency work to begin within the cancellation period, you may still be liable for costs incurred.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
